The BWU-Brandenburgische Wind- und Umwelttechnologien GmbH is founded.
Jacobs Energie GmbH and BWU-Brandenburgische Wind- und Umwelttechnologien GmbH sign a licensing agreement to construct the 43/600 type wind turbine.

The project development and operating company Regenerative Energien Denker & Dr. Wulff KG (now Denker & Wulff AG) is founded in Sehestedt.
